Silhouette is for sale and offers an opportunity to purchase a well looked after boat with
much character at a sensible price. Silhouette was built and used as share boat since
commissioning in 1996 until 2023 and as a share boat she had planned regular
maintenance. The current owner who purchased her in 2023 has also invested in blacking
the hull and replaced worn items, had the engine room professionally totally rewired and
a new control panel installed. The domestic batteries replaced with high capacity new ones
(4 x 150 amp hour each), replaced the solid fuel stove with a professionally installed diesel
fired stove with a separate fuel supply. This also a gas free boat with a new induction hob
and a new combo microwave oven, grill and convection capabilities, electric low wattage
kettle and electric toaster. The inverter has been replaced by a new Victron 3kw unit and
new solar panels have been installed to keep the batteries topped up whilst not moving
with a solar management system installed. The central heating which is by Wesbasto has
been serviced and a new digital controller installed. This unit heats six radiators and heats
the hot water when not running. As you enter the bedroom which has a very practical
ensuite with pumpout toilet and wash basin. The bed is a double with storage under,
wardrobe and overhead cupboard. The bathroom has a pumpout toilet, sink in vanity unit
and large corner bath with new shower unit over. The ensuite toilet and main toilet have
separate holding tanks. The galley is well laid out with excellent storage and work tops
and as mentioned is gas free. A ceiling hung cupboard is at the far end of the galley. The
saloon has an L shape dinette , great for dining as well as making a double berth for
guests and a roll up mattress stored underneath. The saloon area has a diesel fired stove,2 leather chairs, radio with CD player, internet router, new LG smart TV. A new tonneaux was fitted in 2023 and a professionally
built birch cratch which opens together with a new catch cover. New tunnel light.
